SLED Attenuator

The SLED is a crash cushion to suit concrete barriers like the Deltabloc safety barrier and the Jersey Barrier. It’s MASH Tested to TL-3 when used in a 4 module configuration. SLED stands for Sentry Longitudinal Energy Dissipater. It is constructed from yellow polyethylene with internal steel cables and is designed to deform and rupture on impact, creating a safer environment during a crash. When working with heavy machinery, the risk of accidents is higher. A smart cushion or crash cushion protects all roadside hazards – from barriers to bridge piers – and aims to absorb the kinetic energy of impacting vehicles in case of a crash. Our SLED Attenuator meets safety standards to help ensure that in an event of a collision between a vehicle and mobile equipment, the damage caused is significantly lower.
